On a Torsion Axle, the wheel/hub spindle is attached to a lever, called the torsion arm, which is fastened to the rubber encased bar. As load is applied, the bar rotates causing a rolling/compressive resistance in the rubber bushings. According to the law, all trailer loads must be covered with a tarp and properly secured to prevent the loss of any waste material. Littering that occurs when loose material falls from a trailer is the responsibility of the driver. This applies to loads that contain loose household garbage, hard and green waste, building materials, mulch, sand, soil and any other materials. The winch mount plate can be used in conjunction with any bolted winches available on the market today. It’s strong steel construction which allows you to easily fit the winch combined with the winch fairlead by just bolting your winch to the mount. The winch plate is removable and therefore stowable.
